About Wooden Gate Cider
Every bottle begins with a commitment to quality, sustainability, and the rich flavors of Manitoba-grown fruit. Our family farm and cidery, located in Pilot Mound, Manitoba, is where we grow, harvest, press, blend, and age our small-batch craft ciders, always made with 100% locally sourced apples and fruit.
With a deep love for the land and a passion for traditional cider-making, we believe that great cider starts in the orchard. Sustainability isn’t just a practice. It’s a core value. We believe in giving back to the land as much as we take, ensuring that our ciders are made with minimal intervention and maximum respect for nature. From the way we source our fruit to the natural fermentation methods we use, each sip is a reflection of the full cycle of nature, crafted responsibly to honor the land that makes it all possible.
We can’t wait to share our ciders with you. Visit us at the farm, take a tour of our cidery, book a cider tasting, and taste the difference at Wooden Gate Cider.

Meet the Cavers

Clint Cavers
For over 15 years, Clint has been honing his skills in homebrewing and winemaking, blending technique with creativity to produce premium small-batch ciders. He crafts each cider with traditional methods, using no added sulfites and leaving them unfiltered for bold, full-flavored character.
While the orchards rest in the winter, Clint is hard at work in the cidery, pressing, fermenting, blending, and aging. This is where he thrives, experimenting with flavors and refining each batch until it’s just right.

Pam Cavers
While Clint is crafting the ciders, Pam is the driving force behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly. From logistics and planning to operations and sales, Pam makes sure every step of the process stays on track.
Her hard work, dedication, and attention to detail are what bring Wooden Gate Cider to life beyond the cidery, making it possible for more people to experience the craft and care that goes into every bottle.
